Art workshops this year will offer the experience to try out a range and of art materials and techniques responding to the seasons and Forest wildlife.
ART WALK & DRAW workshops 2025 include:
Spring
🍃Ink Drawing with dip pens and natural oak gall ink - plus geli plate printing to make a textured image inspired by Naightjars camoflage & habitat.
🍃 Sketchbooking, seeking Nightjars & Woodcock.
Summer
🍀Making natural Cyanotypes prints with sunlight,
🍀Water colour painting & drawing on the forest exploring forest landscape tracking & sketching ponies.
Autumn
🍂 Lino printing printing natural patterns inspired by the Forest floor.
 
Each walk is lead on different routes through the forest exploring its unusual habitat. When possible we will be joined by lead warden Kari who is an expert on the forest wildlife especially birds.
 
Refreshments and biscuits are provided throughout the event and parking is included in the workshop fee.
Please bring a packed lunch or snacks to keep you going and wear footwear and clothing suitable for the season.
We will go out on the forest whatever the weather!
